We are a Doctor operated Vein and Appearance Medicine Clinic. We are located in Wellington CBD in Courtenay Place, just a few minutes from Lambton Quay.
Dr Lorraine Smith
Dr Lorraine Smith grew up in Dunedin and Wellington and graduated from the Otago Medical School. Dr Lorraine Smith entered the field of cosmetic medicine in 2000.
Dr Lorraine Smith is a member of the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine.
Cosmetic medicine is an evolving highly specialised field. At Vital Face and Vein, we use the latest and best products available in the industry.
Our treatments include wrinkle relaxers for facial lines, frown, forehead lines and crow’s feet, dermal filler treatments for all aspects of facial volume and contouring, biostimulator rejuvenation of tissues using biostimulation and minor surgery for the removal of benign skin lesions and moles. The treatment of varicose veins with endovenous laser and sclerotherapy is a particular interest.
Dr Lorraine Smith is an affiliated provider to Southern Cross Insurance and varicose vein treatments are usually covered by all insurance companies.
When she is not working or spending time with family Dr Lorraine Smith enjoys going to the gym, walking, tramping and skiing.

Chrissie is the familiar face on reception and the person most likely to answer the phone when you call. Chrissie has worked in appearance medicine clinics for many years and has previously run her own business. Chrissie ensures your experience at Vital Face and Vein is a seamless and positive experience.
Her commitment to providing a discreet, professional friendly service to our clients is a priority. Chrissie has a genuine interest in the cosmetic medicine industry. She has comprehensive knowledge of all our treatments and products and is able to assist with all enquiries.
